A student-run water initiative · Phoenix, Arizona
Know your water.
We test tap water in Phoenix-area homes, free of charge, and hand you the numbers in plain language. It's your water. You should get to see it clearly.
01About
Most families have never seen a single measurement of the water that comes out of their own tap. We're a group of Arizona students who thought that was worth fixing, so we started testing it ourselves. We visit homes across the Phoenix area, sample the tap, and explain what we find in words anyone can read. No invoice, no fine print, and nobody sees your results but you.
Ask for a test
An email is all it takes. We schedule around you, evenings and weekends included.
We come to you
Two of us visit, sample your tap, and leave you a card with your private access code.
Read your water
Your results appear here, usually within a week, written so you don't need a chemistry degree.
02Your results
Check your results
Your access code is on the card we left at your visit. It looks like TF-1234.
Looking up your results…
Your results are being prepared
You'll receive an email when they're ready, usually within five business days.
Recommendations
These recommendations are based on your screening results and point you toward the type of filtration that addresses what we found. They are informational, not a prescription. We are not affiliated with and do not earn money from any filtration company. Please research any provider or product independently before purchasing.
Good news — none of your screened parameters came back at levels that call for filtration. No treatment system is recommended based on this screening.
When more than one system is recommended, some households use more than one — for example, a whole-house water softener plus an under-sink reverse osmosis unit for drinking water.
What we tested, and what we didn't
Our free screening covers the parameters above. It does not cover lead, bacteria, PFAS, chromium‑6, or low-level arsenic — those require a certified laboratory to detect reliably. If any of them worry you, write to us and we'll point you to a certified lab.
Something went wrong
We couldn't load your results just now. Please try again in a moment — if it keeps happening, email us at trueflowarizona@gmail.com.

In the works
A water map of the Valley
As more households get tested, we'll publish neighborhood-level summaries by ZIP code, so communities can see how their water compares. Individual homes are never shown. Your results stay yours.
04Schedule a test
Twenty minutes, and you'll
know your water.
If you live in the Phoenix area, we'd genuinely love to come test your tap. It costs nothing and it never will.
